Huge Ass Disappointment.

Oh, i forgot to mention that i went to Penang together with my mum's friend and their entire family.
I've known them since i was like 7, so they're practically cousins.

Anyway, since i was a kid i use to go to Penang annually during the sch holidays
and stay in the only suite that my parents were willing to pay for.
And take hour long jacuzzi baths
(because im poor and cannot afford the luxury of having jacuzzi's at home OKAY not because i like to brag)
And eat all day and night

and then NOM NOM somemore like a freggin carnivorous dinosaur

But since everyone's schedule got crazy,
we eventually stopped going.

But everything was remedied because, after yearrrrrs of missing tradition
We finally made it this year!

And god help me i was SO EXCITED about the food, and the suite.
But mainly the food, so dont judge.

only to find out that the food doesn't give you the

"gastronomical orgasmic blow your mind"

feeling anymore anymore.

It's like having a huge FAT "DISAPPOINTMENT" chop being stamped on your forehead.

To be honest, its not worth the travel anymore.
If i wanted good Penang food like Prawn mee & Fried keuy teow
i would rather just go to Little Penang in Curve or Mid Valley.

And before things could get worst.

I had food poisoning.
On my 2nd night.

AND NO, It's not the minor food poisoning
whereby you take a shit and everything's a-okay again.

I was vomiting the crap out of myself for a good 5 hours without stopping
While my teeth clatter and shiver to no end.
Till it got to a point whereby i think dying was a better option

And to much displeasure, it was so hard to find a god damned 24-hour clinic
it was like finding hamster poop in hay.

So i ended up in the ONLY freaking 24-hour clinic on the ENTIRE ISLAND (sarcasm)
after driving around for a good hour and a half. (fact)

Took 3 jabs and all was good after that.

Stayed in Bayview Beach Resort for the first two nights.

WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?
She's so darn cute. Ugh.Their family.

Then we found this dog that followed us down the entire beach and wouldn't stop wagging it's tail.
Dawww, it digs a hole in the sand before it curls up and sleep at night.
Para-glided for the 2nd time in my life :)

Then on the third day my "cousins" went home and we moved to Gurney Hotel

Spice Garden found on the recreation floor.

And the most surprising thing ever, FLUFFY BUNNIES.
They were happily hopping around the poolside and the spice garden when i found them one night.
They're locked up during the day tho.

The best designed mall i have ever been to in Malaysia to date.

Straits Quay.

Damn, im impressed.
There were literally 40-50 yachts parked at the marina.
I was totally in awe.
Felt as if i was walking through a movie set.
The ID of this mall is just superb.
But due to low light, the shots i got was horrible.

This was the only pass-able one.

That's about it.
